Working for Foxstow
As an ambitious and growing company, we rely on the skills and qualities of our people to continue to succeed. For this reason, we invest in the skills and wellbeing of our team, and only look to employ people who share our passion for joinery, commitment to quality, and dedication to customer service. If this sounds like you, then please read what other qualities we look for, and explore any vacancies below.
Experienced support where you need it
Being a craft lead business means putting our workshop at the heart of everything we do. We believe that the best way to deliver consistently high-quality bespoke joinery is to hire the right people, build a great team, and provide everyone with what they need to thrive. In practice, this means offering the right training and equipment, together with a varied workload that is challenging enough, to invigorate our craftsmen and allow them the chance to further hone and broaden their skills.
Our workshop offers opportunities at every level, including apprenticeships, and roles for those looking to take the next step in their careers. To make this viable, we employ a backbone of experienced craftsmen, who guide the day to day activities of the workshop while actively mentoring the other members of our team. If you are a bench joiner, cabinet maker or finishing specialist, with a great eye for detail, and you share our commitment to quality; then Foxstow offers a great place to further your career.
Supporting our clients & workshop
No matter how good our joinery work is, we would not enjoy the same level of success without the team working in the office, and on the road. Their efforts add value to every project and provide our clients with all the support they need to succeed. From project management, to logistics, design and admin; every member of our team plays their part in assisting the work of our craftsmen, helping our clients, and making Foxstow the company that it is.
We look to employ customer focused team players, who have a ‘can do’ attitude to everything their job presents. Outside of the workshop, most positions do not require prior experience of joinery work, although some roles like ‘Project Management’ do benefit from having experience related to construction and design. Regardless of any previous experience, we hope to foster an understanding and advocacy of bespoke joinery, in everyone we employ.
